Righty, your AI assistant
Righty is RightMessage's built-in AI assistant. It lives right inside your dashboard and understands your entire setup, your segments, flows, campaigns, and visitor data. Think of it as a personalization strategist that already knows your account inside and out.
What Righty can help with
Righty isn't a generic chatbot. It has full context of your current configuration, which means it can give you advice that's actually specific to your setup.
Here are some things you can ask Righty to do:
Set up campaigns: "Create a new campaign that targets visitors who haven't been segmented yet."
Understand your audience: "What percentage of my visitors are in the 'Freelancer' segment?"
Build flow strategies: "I want to show a different offer to returning customers vs. new visitors. How should I structure this?"
Troubleshoot issues: "My popup isn't showing on the pricing page, what's going on?"
Suggest optimizations: "What are some ways I could improve my current sitewide flow?"
Righty can also take action when you ask it to, creating segments, modifying flows, updating campaigns, and more. It uses tool-calling to make real changes to your account, so you don't have to click through everything manually.
How to access Righty
You'll find Righty in the bottom-right corner of your RightMessage dashboard. Click the chat icon to open a conversation.
Righty remembers context within a conversation, so you can have a back-and-forth without re-explaining yourself. If you start a new conversation, it starts fresh, but it always has access to your current config.
Tips for getting the best results
Be specific about what you want. Instead of "help me with personalization," try "I want to show a different headline on my homepage based on whether someone is a freelancer or agency owner."
Tell Righty what you're trying to achieve. Context about your goals helps it give better recommendations. "I'm trying to increase demo bookings from enterprise visitors" is much more useful than "make my site better."
Be clear when you want it to make changes. Righty can create and modify things in your account, segments, flows, campaigns, and more. If you're just exploring ideas, say so. If you want it to actually build something, tell it to go ahead.
Strategy tip: Start by asking Righty to review your current setup. Something like "Look at my flows and suggest what I could improve" is a great way to get quick, actionable advice based on what you already have.
What Righty can and can't do
Righty can:
Read your full configuration (segments, flows, campaigns, widgets, forms)
Access visitor data and audience breakdowns
Create, update, and delete resources in your account
Suggest personalization strategies based on your actual setup
Walk you through how to implement something step by step
Righty can't:
Make changes to your live website directly (you still need to publish)
Access your ESP or CRM data beyond what's synced into RightMessage
Remember previous conversations (each conversation starts fresh)
Strategy tip: Righty works best when you already have some segments and flows set up. The more data it has to work with, the more specific and useful its suggestions will be. If you're just getting started, try asking it to help you plan your first flow, it's a great way to think through your strategy before building.
